Moe’s Digital Market Campaign


When the High Point Trade Show was cancelled due to COVID-19, Moe’s Home Furniture decided to launch a digital market that would customize online shopping for their wholesale buyers while continuing to champion B2B marketing initiatives. We wanted to give the Moe’s customers and partners the best online experience possible while at home. In order to accurately introduce their Spring 2020 Collections, AntiSocial and Moe’s Home designed a 3D digital showroom. They repurposed their flagship’s store’s entire 2nd floor into mini showroom sections, produced detailed videos explaining each collection, and encouraged buyers to register for one-on-one appointments with their sales teams. Both teams took on tasks individually and collectively including but not limited to: strategizing, designing, planning, filming, producing, building landing pages, building social media support, and launching online ads in under 1 month.

The Challenge

Moe’s Home operates solely through brick and mortar sales. With COVID-19 forcing closures to all of their stores and cancelling trade shows, combined with the absence of an e-commerce presence, our main challenge was to drive online sales through other means. A large selling point of Moe’s retail and wholesale is the showroom experience, where you can see and feel the quality of the pieces, so replicating this experience digitally became our main challenge.

The Solution

Tackling asks and achieving goals


With the challenge laid out, our first recommendation was to implement a socially responsible retail experience from virtual store walk-throughs to white-gloved and physically distanced delivery services. Working closely with the Moe’s internal social team, we pivoted our evergreen content to be more representative of the current landscape. With increased numbers of people working from home, we saw it as an opportunity to adjust our regular narrative, providing inspiration to our communities. To mitigate the losses in business caused by the cancellation of trade shows, we orchestrated a socially responsible virtual tradeshow. Adhering to all government rules and regulations, we captured a series of walkthrough videos for prospective clients to review the new collections.
