The Story

White Spot was looking for a fresh digital perspective that would resonate with their growing audience. Through classic nostalgia and vibrant photo and video content, we captured the essence of White Spot’s personality and grew their online community.

Social Strategy

White Spot is a people-first company. Nurturing a #SpotForEveryone is at the core of their corporate philosophy. It was important for us to create content that catered to both their loyal, lapsed, and new clientele. We balanced our content between people and food to show diversity and product quality.

Engaging content such as contests, trivia games, and lifestyle media helped increase social engagement across their channels. Our key campaigns included the 12 Days of Giveaways, BC’s Own, Spotitarian, and the exciting Beyond Meat Launch, to name a few.

Food and History, Explained

White Spot is not only a Western Canadian staple, but they are a diverse company with multiple business lines, a large range of consumers, and a strong legacy of Canadian spirit. We brought the brand’s versatility to life by creating content for every aspect of their business.

We highlighted local ingredients, such as Nat’s Own Coffee and Kennebec potatoes, their deep history in BC, through their 90th-anniversary celebrations, and their ever-growing community, through our Spotitarian campaign.

Behind the Scenes: HR, People, and Culture

Recruitment, retention, and empowering staff are all important pillars of White Spot’s corporate ethos. To support their internal growth and solidify their employment reputation, we created a series of inspiring Employee Story videos that showed the quality of training and support they impart on their staff.

With their innovative built-in red-seal program, enriching management training programs, and the ongoing dedication of the company to its employees, these videos were an easy win. We showed the humanity, compassion, and motivation that White Spot instilled in its business practices and created new areas for recruitment and growth.
