Netflix now lets you brag about what you're binging on your Instagram Story.

Netflix has become a streaming powerhouse. Much has changed since it’s inception in 1998 as an online DVD rental store with only 30 employees. Now, it’s referenced in pop culture, taking its rightful place as the center of millennial-targeted jokes and memes on how to spend your life binge-watching TV.

Netflix, now knowing the power behind social media, has started integrating its brand into social media even more. You can now share what you’re watching onto your Instagram Story. It’s a genius move by the subscription-based streaming company because it essentially turns your post into free Netflix advertising and it’s something users will want to do. People like to talk about what they’re into at that moment. Whether it’s commentary on the insanity that was Fyre Festival or blindfolding yourself for the Bird Box challenge, people want to post about it on social media.

The option is available on iOS. Those with a Netflix account and app (and your five friends using the same login) can now share shows on their IG Stories.

It’s simple, really. Open your Netflix app, click on a show you want to add to your IG Story, and hit the share button.
